Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement ("Privacy Statement") explains TerraStride Inc. ("TerraStride" or "we" "our") privacy practices and describes the ways in which we use (and don't use) the information we receive from you via HuntStand.com (the "Site") in order for you to utilize the Services which we define below and further describe in this Privacy Statement. This Privacy Statement is incorporated as part of HuntStand’s Terms of Service which applies to you and your use of the Site and Services.
Description of Our Services
TerraStride develops mapping solutions for a number of industries using its proprietary online platform. The company currently markets two product lines: TerraStride Pro, a land brokerage platform, and the HuntStand suite of mobile and web-based applications, hunting and land management solutions.
The HuntStand family of soltuions includes HuntStand Lite, HuntStand Pro, and Turkey Hunt applications, as well as the online platform HuntStand.com (the “Software”). Each of these products enables hunters to improve their experience in the field by providing geospatial, weather, and game data. Combining GPS satellite mapping, data analytics, and land-management functionality, HuntStand applications work on and offline by caching maps and weather, game, and asset data to users’ phone. HuntStand.com collects all of the data that users input into HuntStand Lite and Pro and makes it available on an online platform, which provides advanced editing, sharing, synchronization, and reporting features. HuntStand products enhances the safety and success of each hunt and present insights into the land and records of hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.
The Software is designed to assist hunters, hunt clubs, landowners, land managers, and generally anyone interested in mapping and managing land. Your use of both the Software and the Site shall be collectively referred to herein as (the "Services").
Your Consent
By using the Services, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Statement. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Statement, including having your personally identifiable information or "Personal Information" (as defined below in the section entitled "Collection of Your Personal Information") used in any of the ways described in this Privacy Statement do not provide us with your Personal Information. If you don't provide us with your Personal Information you may not be able to use certain parts or features of the Site or the Service.
By using the Services, you explicitly consent to allowing TerraStride to share or sell specific types of non-personal information as set forth herein which we obtain through your use of our Services. The types of non-personal information you provide regarding a specific piece of property you choose to share with others and further describe by utilizing the Services and listing or sharing such information on the Site, may or may not otherwise be publically available to others. This information includes but is not limited to the size, location, layout, improvements, resources, lease, game, hunting, and equipment data, and various other amenities and data of properties listed through your use of the Services.
To be clear, we do not consider this specific type of information to be Personal Information and therefore, in additional to the uses described above, may use this information for our own internal or external analytics purposes. We may also share with or sell to others the information you provide so others may evaluate and compare comparable properties to the listed properties on our Site. To the extent the sharing of the aforementioned information contains any personally identifying information of an individual, we take certain measures to ensure such information is anonymized or presented to any third parties in an aggregate format.
Finally, this Privacy Statement does not apply to any public area of TerraStride and HuntStand's Sites or Services. In the event you submit Personal Information specifically for the purposes of allowing contact by another member of the Site or user of the Service, such information becomes publicly available and TerraStride is not responsible for the Personal Information you choose to submit to these services, forums, listings, or other members.
Updates and Notice of Material Change in the Use of Your Personal Information
We may update this Privacy Statement from time-to-time in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Statement at any time but will provide you a notification of the change at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Statement for any changes each time that you use the Services.
Use of the Services by you following our posting of a new Privacy Statement on our Site constitutes your acceptance of the Privacy Statement as modified. In the event we materially change the way in which we use your Personal Information, we will provide you with notice and ask you to affirmatively accept the changes to a new Privacy Statement.

Collection of Personal Information by TerraStride
The types of Personal Information we collect may include, but is not limited to, the following:
Information that will be necessary for you to register on the Site and to use the Services. This would include your name and e-mail address(es) (collectively "Personal Information");
Information about your use of the Services. This would include your frequency of use of the Site, your responses to individual offerings, and the types of features you most use; and
Customer service information or general account information.
If you encounter a screen or page that requests information you do not want to share with us, you may choose not enter the information and do not proceed with that screen or page.
Use of Personal Information Collected:
Personal information may be used to contact you for the purpose of conducting research, product development, marketing, or to enhance customer service.
Email Communications from TerraStride
We use your Personal Information in order to improve our product and service offerings. Your email address is used to communicate notification emails about important information regarding the Services or to communicate with you for Site administration purposes. We may also email you information regarding updates to the Services and to send information regarding TerraStride, such as promotions, contests and events.
You may opt out of being contacted by for marketing or promotional reasons us, at any time by sending an email to support@huntstand.com. We reserve the right to email you in regard to your account status.
Disclosures and Transfers of Personal Information
We do not share with or disclose Personal Information to third parties, except when one or more of the following conditions is true:
We have your permission to make the disclosure or you have chosen to post such information in a public area of the Site or to facilitate a communication regarding certain listings posted and requested by you;
The disclosure is necessary for the purpose for which the Personal Information was obtained;
The disclosure is to our credit card service provider in order to fulfill and carry out the purchase and provision of the Services requested by you;
The disclosure is permitted by relevant law;
The Personal Information to be disclosed is otherwise publicly available in accordance with the applicable law;
The disclosure is reasonably related to the sale or other disposition of all or part of our business or assets;
The disclosure is for our own marketing purposes, or, with your authorization, for the marketing purposes of third parties;
The party to whom the disclosure is made controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with HuntStand;
The disclosure is in our sole discretion necessary for the establishment or maintenance of legal claims or legal compliance, to satisfy any law, regulation, subpoena or government request, or in connection with litigation;
The disclosure is in our sole discretion about users who we believe are engaged in illegal activities or are otherwise in violation of our HuntStand User Agreement, even without a subpoena, warrant or court order; or
The disclosure is to outside businesses to perform certain services for us, such as maintaining our Site and Services, providing marketing assistance, and data analysis ("Administrative Service Providers"), including Administrative Service Providers outside the country or jurisdiction in which you reside.
Links to 3rd Party Sites
Our Site includes links to other Web sites whose privacy practices may differ from those of HuntStand. If you submit Personal Information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy statements. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any Web site you visit.
Location Data
HuntStand’s Trace feature adds a path or line to your hunt area based on your specific movements. In order to enable this ability, Huntstand collects location data in the background. This includes while the app is not open, allowing users to utilize other aspects of their phone while a trace is being recorded.
Confidentiality and Security
We restrict access to information collected about our members and our visitors at our Site to our employees, our affiliates' employees, or others who need to know that information to provide services to our Site visitors or members or in the course of conducting our normal business operations. TerraStride protects its databases with various physical, technical and procedural measures and we restrict unauthorized access to our visitor and customer information. While we implement these and other security measures on our Site, please note that 100% security is not always possible. We cannot guarantee that the security measures we have in place to safeguard personal information will never be defeated or fail, or that those measures will always be sufficient or effective.
Children's Privacy
TerraStride does not intend the Services to be used by individuals under the age of 13. We do not seek or knowingly collect any Personal Information about children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected Personal Information from a child under the age of 13, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database.
California Resident's Privacy Rights:
Under California law, California residents may opt-out of our disclosing personal information about them to third parties for their marketing purposes. If you do not want us to disclose information to other companies for their marketing purposes, please contact us by any of the ways described in the "How to Contact Us" section above. Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to request from a business, with whom the California resident has an established business relationship, certain information with respect to the types of personal information the business shares with third parties for direct marketing purposes by such third party and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information during the immediately preceding calendar year. To request a copy of such information, please contact us by any of the ways described in the "How to Contact Us" section above, and we will respond within 30 days as required by law. California law also requires us to disclose how we respond to your Web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide you the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across third-party Web sites or online services. We are also required to disclose whether other parties may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different Web sites when you use the Sites. At this time, TerraStride takes no action automatically in response to "do not track" signals and does not enable other third parties to collect personally identifiable information about Site visitors over time or across different Web sites.
Use of Cookies
A cookie is a piece of information which a web server may place on your computer when you visit a web site. Cookies are commonly used by web sites to improve the user experience. We use cookies for automatic token based authentication when you visit the Site so that you do not have to provide your authentication information and login credentials every time you return to our Site. Our cookies do not gather personally identifiable information. You can decide if and how your computer will accept a cookie by configuring your preferences or options in your browser.
Our Site uses Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to help analyze how individuals use the services. The non-personal information generated by the cookie about your use of the Website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Website and Apps, compiling reports on Website and Apps activity for our purpose, evaluation and providing other services relating to the Website and Apps activity and Internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may disable cookies within your browser as described above, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of the Website or the Apps. By using this Site, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. For certain browsers, you can also prevent Google from collecting information (including your IP address) via cookies and processing this information by downloading this browser plug-in and installing it: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Social Media Platforms and Websites
Any information, communications, or material of any type or nature that you submit to our Sites (including, but not limited to any HuntStand or TerraStride websites contained on a social media platform or website such as Facebook or Twitter) by email, posting, messaging, uploading, downloading, or otherwise (collectively, a “Submission”), is done at your own risk and without any expectation of privacy. TerraStride cannot control the actions of other users of any social media platform or website and we are therefore not responsible for any content or Submissions contained on such sites and platforms. By visiting our Site contained on a social media platform or website, you are representing and warranting to TerraStride that you have reviewed the applicable privacy policy and terms of use of such platform or website and that you will abide by all such provisions contained therein.
Additionally, in the event that the Site offers a message board or any other interactive or social-type feature on a website administered directly by us, please be aware that these areas may allow you to publicly post, and share with other users, certain messages, content, or other information (e.g., stories, pictures, ingredients, tips, etc.). Although we may take certain precautions to protect those who use these areas of the HuntStand’s Site, we encourage you to be wary of giving out any personal information in such public forums. The information you post can be collected and used by people you don't know. We cannot guarantee the privacy and safety of these areas and are therefore not responsible for any information you choose to post in public areas. Your use of these features is fully at your own risk.
Correcting & Updating Your Information
To update any of your information or discontinue service please email support@huntstand.com. To discontinue the Service, email support@huntstand.com. HuntStand will respond to your correction or update request within at most 30 days from the date of your request.
Visiting our Site from Outside of the United States
Our application and database servers are located with Amazon Web Services. Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province/territory, or country where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those where you live. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please be aware that we transfer Personal Information to the United States and process and store it there. As a result, this information may be subject to access requests from governments, courts, law enforcement officials and national security authorities in the United States according to its laws. Subject to the applicable laws, we will use reasonable efforts within our control to ensure that appropriate protections are in place to maintain protections on the Personal Information. By submitting your Personal Information, you consent to having your Personal Information transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States.
